Sleep disordeers

Peoples physical and mental conditions affect sleep patterns.  Insomnia is when this sleeping disorder is regular and can greatly affect your life.  You often feel in a zombie like state the next day which greatly affects your concentration and ability.

Insomnia is related to depression, stress, anxiety.  It involves the deficiency of Rapid Eye Movement (REM) sleep, and unstable metabolism.  Restless sleep and tired days are a result.

Not only the person who has insomnia suffers but whoever they live with, share a bed with, work with and so on.  The person who suffers is irritable, often moody, restless, and so on.

Insomnia and sleep apnea cause a person to have disturbed breathing patterns and long pauses in breathing.

Blocked airways and throat problems are common.  This can cause problems for the person and suffering and the person sharing the bed with them!

Extra weight and obesity also impedes proper breathing patterns.

I agree that insomnia and other sleep disorders can cause serious problems for the people who suffer from them. In addition to the problems mentioned above, people with insomnia are more likely to suffer from other physical conditions such as high blood pressure, diabetes, heart attacks, and even obesity. There are a lot of treatments for insomnia that people can try - such as relaxation therapy, herbal supplements, and prescription drugs.
